MINDFUL MAY [JESUS YEAR]

Welcome [back] to another episode of Mindful May;
brought to you by 30-50.
Allow me to briefly (re)introduce myself & the brand. My name is Jamal, but you can call me JP. Jamal works, too.
30-50 is a life/style brand and accessory line. Its purpose is of many (moving parts) and is deeply engraved in my [personal and professional] life—as a means of stewardship, entrepreneurship, creative expression & therapy.
A plethora of varying concepts and ideas are utilized in the content and products that we hand-craft and produce. [I reference ‘we’ as myself and my numerous personas]. The brand itself, however, is built upon four primary pillars;
Progression, Protection, Direction & Balance.
These ideologies are referenced (very) often throughout the brand, and serve as the pillar(s) of which I [continue to] build and stand upon.
“Take a stand and command to demand what’s grand / I know we can if we just understand.”
“Stay far from timid. Only make moves when your heart’s in it. And live the phrase ‘sky’s the limit’.”
May is a special month here at 30-50, for a few different reasons.
Mothers are celebrated. Students are graduating. Spring is blooming and the summer will be here soon. May is Mental Health Awareness month, and conveniently enough… the month of my birth. How old am I this year? Take a guess.
So what do I have planned this year, you ask? Well that’s a good question. I’m not out to conquer the world… but I do plan on conquering fear, negativity, insecurity, self-doubt, self-sabotaging, overthinking, sadness, impulsiveness and anything else that tries to steer me off track. Appreciating the beauty of life; of being present, being whole… seeing what comes from pulling back the layers, and trusting in what remains. Knowing that I am good enough and worthy no matter what.
I’m planning on Victory.
