Earth is painted with stunning colors. Colors that reveal a deep truth on what the Earth is made of, and how it works.

I think spectrums are pretty cool. I recently gained an interest for them and was intrigued as to what they were and did exactly. I’ve always resonated with the idea of deeper meaning(s) behind seemingly simple concepts like colors and numbers. We’re introduced to these units of light and measure at the first sign of comprehension, and have made use of them in every juncture in our lives. This isn’t by happenstance or coincidence, but by inevitable evolution of time and space on Earth.

Our relationship with color is an fascinating one. It’s one of the first established in our personal lives; the first to evoke feeling amongst humanity. Colors are deeply ingrained to the elemental structure and identity of the world we live in.

A spectrum is an extensive concept with multiple meanings. They’re used to define or classify something (in terms of its position on a scale between two extreme or opposite points) and are often times correlated with color, light, frequencies and wavelengths. As light moves from one point to another, its components are separated and distributed along the scale (based on degree of wavelength refraction). A spectrum isn’t limited to light and color, but can apply to just about any scale of feeling or energy (both of which can be correlated with a color and/or light type).

Color is more than just a characteristic of human visual perception. The perception of color is actualized into reality through the elements that created and sustain life here on Earth. From one spectral point to another, elemental components are activated (rain, snow, heat, etc.) and shifted through various degrees of light, time and space. Land, water, air and fire can all be identified with a color. The same applies to our energy and mood.

Spectral concepts are not limited to the elements of the Earth. They are very complex; so much so that the word is often used as a scale of identity, cognitive behavior, intelligence, ability, sexuality, mental health… the list goes on and on. [as human beings,] We all exist on a spectrum of sorts. Multiple, even. Whether it be the spectrum of time, space, life or style, these bracelets are a conceptualized manifestation of color, feeling and energy flowing deeply within the Earth.

Our souls are not meant to be uninformed or contained within a box. We are chaotic, creative, expansive and fluctuate. We are a SPECTRUM of various energies. We are love, and love is sporadic.

May is my favorite month of the year. Easily and without question. This is the month where I hit the hard reset button. Not without backing up all of my important files (memories, thoughts, experience, etc) I re-align, reassess, then reinsert myself into the world with another trip around the sun. Each trip commences another year of earthly evolution through time, space, life and style. I’ve taken thirty of these trips thus far; in multiple capacities, with different people & under different circumstances. With each trip is another takeaway--something learned and of potentially good use for future excursions within and throughout the Earth (see: wisdom and/or experience). The month of May is beautiful, indeed. Not only because of its place in my personal life, but in all space and time.  Spring is in full bloom; the flowers, the sun, the celebration of mothers, graduates, and those that lost their lives fighting for our rights as a country. Some of you may not feel the same way about the month of May, and that’s OK. I’ma let you finish, but May is one of the greatest months of all time.

Did you see what I did there? I hope so. It was a SUPERB segue into Mental Health Awareness Month.
